The 2008 award-winning documentary Flow: For Love of Water directed by French director Irena Salina takes a look at how some of the biggest multinational companies, blinded by profits, have overlooked the need to ensure clean water for future generations.

The film features interviews with scientists and activists, including Ashok Gadgil, Rajendra Singh and Vandana Shiva in an attempt to highlight the privatisation of water, the expanding water cartel and the consequences of these water wars.
