Jamjar, a new dining space at Versova offers fun dishes in a setting that promises just as much comfort as its food, finds Parinita Shetty
It isn’t hard to spot Jamjar even without any signboards; the blue cottage exterior with its warm wooden doors and white trim is sure to become a landmark for anyone in need of directions. And if the person is hungry as well as lost, he’d best enter the eatery to feel better about his geographically challenged ways.
Stone floors and lopsided wall-hung cabinets greet you as you enter. A shiny jukebox enjoys pride of place. Apart from vintage knickknacks such as metal tins and ceramic jars, the cabinets also accommodate an assortment of books and comics and Scrabble. There are also promises of free Wi-Fi and an all-day bar, sure to make freelancers very happy.
