What caused the demise of the legendary racer Ayrton Senna 15 years ago, on May 1 1994? Death is common to all people rich and poor, fat and thin. It is the greatest leveller in the world. And while for some death is the end, for others it is something that leads to sweeping changes. While all of us die, Ayrton Senna is one man whose death was as eventful as his life. While he was alive, he won six times at Monaco, something that even Schumacher has not been able to achieve. u00a0Senna has also contributed to the safety of Grand Prix. As Wikipedia notes, 'There have been many attempted explanations for the cause of his death, but no consensus has been reached. His death was a landmark turning point in the safety of Formula One, as many safety measures have since been implemented. The Grand Prix Drivers' Association was reformed later in 1994, and the association has contributed to these changes.' Jyotish angle Life and astrology are but two sides of the same coin and what is shown by life has to also be seen in the birth chart and vice versa. In life, you will say, 'Poor fellow! He crashed against a barrier and died!' while in jyotish you will say 'How sad! He was running the dasa of a cruel graha!' u00a0So, let's consider Senna's chart. It is something hard to get the accurate birth details of some celebrities, but thankfully, we have Senna's chart with a Rodden Rating of AA, which indicates the highest accuracy possible. Senna was born on March 21 1960 at 02:35 AM in Sao Paulo, Brazil (23s32, 46w37, 3 West, no DST). Don't worry about the latitude and longitude coordinates all one has to do is enter them into a jyotish software and you will get 12 neat boxes that and nine nice grahas that govern your destiny from birth till death. u00a0 Defining death If the chart gives you a headache and confuses you, don't look at it. All you have to understand is this the 8th house gives you longevity. Therefore, since the 8th from the 8th also indicates the same, the 3rd also gives you longevity. u00a0 And since death is the loss of longevity, the 12th houses from the 8th and the 3rd namely the 2nd and the 7th are the killers or the marakas in a chart. u00a0Now, Senna was running Rahu-Rahu-Sani from February 13, 1994 to July 19, 1994. Now, let us look at the links that Rahu and Sani have with the 2nd and the 7th houses respectively: >>Sani owns the 2nd house Kumbha >>Rahu is the co-owner of Kumbha as per the astrological dictum 'Sani vad Rahu' which means that Rahu, like Sani, is the co-owner of Kumbha >>Sani is with Chandra, the lord of Kataka, the 7th house >>On the day that Senna died, Sani was travelling through Kumbha u00a0 Since the ruling period is strongly associated with the second house, it led to Senna's death. Though Sani caused Senna's death, it is not evil because Sani is the lord of the 1st (Sani also rules Makara). Sani is associated with lasting results, and to this date, Senna's Monaco record is unbeaten thanks to Sani. You will also notice that the 3rd house, which rules cause of own death, is occupied by Ketu. Ketu is a natural obstructer and Ketu's presence in the 3rd means that the cause of death will be hard to define. Remember the line from Wikipedia in the beginning which said that no consensus has been reached regarding the cause of death? Well, Ketu is responsible for this confusion.
