A project by singer Shruti Pathak, who is known as the voice behind popular Bollywood tracks such as Mar Jawa from the movie Fashion, Guzzler is an attempt to revisit Ghazals with a new sound and a progressive approach.u00a0

Ghazals have have always interested Pathak due to their lyrical content and this project will westernise this genre with the help of instrumentation and modern arrangements to make it appealing to a newer audience.u00a0


The singer, who has been listening and has been influenced by ghazals since her childhood aims to attract the youth to this melodious genre of music. Guzzler comprises Beven Fonseca on keys, Vinayak pol on drums, young percussionist Vaibhav Wavikar, Cajetan D’Souza on guitar, Papal on Bass guitar and Sabir Khan, son of sarangi player and vocalist Ustad Sultan Khan on sarangi.
