Xiaomi has sent out invitations for the launch event of Redmi Note 4 in India on January 19, 2017. Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 was launched in China in August 2016.

The two variants of the phone- 2GB RAM with 16GB inbuilt storage model was priced at CNY 899 (roughly Rs. 9,000), and the 3GB RAM with 64GB inbuilt storage model was priced at CNY 1,199 (roughly Rs. 12,000). Redmi Note 4 is expected to be available in India for the same price.

The Redmi smartphone was launched in Gold, Grey, and Silver variants. It sports a finger print scanner on the rear panel and 5.5-inch full-HD 2.5D curved glass display. The phone is packed by 13 MP rear camera and 5MP front camera. It supports expandable storage up to 128GB via microSD card. The phone also has a fingerprint sensor and supports both 3G, 4G network. It is backed by 4100mAh battery and weighs 175 grams.
