'A Christmas gift': Two red pandas brought to Darjeeling zoo from Netherlands

Two red pandas reached the Darjeeling Zoo from Rotterdam in the Netherlands on Christmas, bringing joy and excitement among the zoo personnel and the forest fraternity in West Bengal.
No red pandas were brought from any foreign country in the past 10 years, the member secretary of the West Bengal Zoo Authority, Saurabh Chaudhury, told PTI on Thursday.
