The Madhya Pradesh government has notified Ratapani forest in Raisen district as a tiger reserve in the state, officials said on Tuesday.

It is the eighth tiger reserve in the state after Kanha, Satpura, Bandhavgarh, Pench, Sanjay Dubri, Panna and Veerangana Durgavati.
