It isn't really possible for me to make more money because I am also a full-time student and she isn't, so I don't have the time. I think the main problem is the issue with his parents. You don't need to worry about how you feel about him. That comes naturally, so just go with the flow and see what happens. But you need to find out what the problem is exactly with his parents. It could be easily sorted, e.g. if they don't like that he's talking to a girl on Facebook.
