He plans to be tucked away in his studio, preparing for two upcoming concert tours, bringing new compositions to life, and working on not one but two symphonies. <p>I recently uncovered one such story involving ace photographer Atul Kasbekar and the exceptionally talented Rid Burman. Rid &mdash; without a doubt one of the most gifted photographers I&rsquo;ve had the privilege of working with &mdash; is the son of celebrated contemporary artists Jayasri Burman and Paresh Maity. Back in the late 1990s, gallerist Shanti Chopra introduced Jayasri to Atul. She was looking for an insider&rsquo;s honest take: was photography a viable career for her son, and what could a future behind the lens actually look like?</p>
<p>That single conversation may well have changed the trajectory of Rid&rsquo;s life. Bolstered by Atul&rsquo;s insights, Jayasri threw her support behind her son&rsquo;s ambition, and he went on to build a truly remarkable career across Mumbai, New York, and Paris. It is a beautiful reminder that destiny isn&rsquo;t always forged in dramatic turning points. Sometimes, it begins with nothing more than a simple introduction and a trusted opinion over coffee.</p>
