Scared of heights but still keen to attempt paragliding? This is your best chance. Tattva Adventures &mdash; a firm known for organising treks and safaris - has designed an event dedicated to tandem paragliding where, a passenger will fly with a pilot above Pawna Lake in Kamshet near Lonavla.
"It is totally risk-free and our pilots are well-trained to react quickly if they smell danger. But all our expeditions so far have been safe," assures Jaal Dedhia, co-founder of the firm.
Tandem paragliding provides an experience of freedom and serenity. As a passenger, one sits in front and enjoys the flight. The weight limit for the flight is 95 kgs.
"Bad weather could cause obstruction in paragliding. In any such situation, Rs 3,000 will be refunded to the participants," he added. The duration of the paragliding activity is eight to 10 minutes.
NOTE: If you have a GoPro stick, you don't need to pay additional charges for shooting your experience. Or else, pay R700 for a video. For this, carry a memory card with a minimum memory of 1 GB.
