In the middle of old Bandra, off Hill Road, the sight of clean-cut lines, sparkling large windows and friendly ambiance suddenly startles you. Walk into Birdsong and there’s more. Paper glasses that look like wood; real wood short forks and spoons; a large blackboard with an impromptu menu; pastries, cookies and breads on the counter; high ceiling, minimalist decor, large wooden benches and tables that have a bottle of something yellow and powdery, perched on it.
