We stepped into Andheri's latest addition, Glocal Junction with trepidation, unsure of what the all day diner and bar would rustle up in the guise of 'glocal' fare — after all, this could mean any spread, from the odd Mexican foam-infused dhokla to gulkand ganache. However, our worries were put to rest when we heard that Gaurav Gidwani, an ex-Social chef, has helmed the food menu. With steely grey walls and an al fresco dining area, the minimally furnished, roomy space offers expansive and pocket-friendly food — everything from salads to barbequed fare, pizzas, burgers, and even pre-plated meals — and drink menus.
