Tuk Tukk Food:&nbsp;Can do better Service:&nbsp;Self service Ambiance:&nbsp;Cosy
We love the vibe in and around Shivaji Park neighbourhood, what with its wide, tree-lined roads and a mix of old and new restaurants that never fail to deliver. Our most recent haunt was the bar Open House, and on one such recent visit, we spotted Tuk Tukk, located next door and owned by the same company.

(L) Blueberry Cheese Cup; (R) Bun Pizza The tiny yet cosy eatery offers a variety of quick bites including puffs, bun pizzas, and croissants. We started our Tuk Tukk ride with a Liver Masala Roll (Rs 60), Veg Slider (Rs 50) and a Bun Pizza (Rs 50). From the beverages section, we tried an Oreo Shake (Rs 100) and Cold Coffee (Rs 100). The roll consisted of spicy minced meat that was thankfully not just your usual garam masala mix. The Bun Pizza too made for a good snack with its chicken pieces offering a slightly sour and hot flavour.

Thankfully, the shakes were made just like we like it, thick, with a good dose of chocolate and coffee. Not satisfied with the Veg Slider, we ordered for a Paneer Chilli Croissant (Rs 50). The crust was great though the filling lacked both quantity and flavour. Mutton Puff (Rs 50) was your regular good, flaky puff that one would get at a neighbourhood bakery.

The Blueberry Cheese Cup (Rs 60) earned brownie points for its light, airy consistency. Tuk Tukk also offers tea snacks such as khari sticks, cookies and breads. We picked a pack of Cheese Khari sticks (Rs 80), which made for a tasty accompaniment with our cuppa. The Plum Cake (Rs 200 for 500 gm) had an egg-y aftertaste in some of its sections that we didn&rsquo;t like much. If you are not willing to spend too much but wish to sit down at a place for a quick snack and coffee, Tuk Tukk makes for a value-for-money stopover in a charming set-up.
