When I was little, my mother spun stories around rice balls. We’d pretend they were demons that needed to be gobbled. A look at Ana Patankar’s food character series brought back those playful memories. Her brush lends personality to food — be it ‘Andas Apna Apna’ or ‘Gangubai Kothimbirwadi’ (in pic) — and leaves you with a chuckle.
