This might sound unthinkable, but this nostalgic take on the modak might have you keeping the Ukadiche Modak aside. Crafted as a three to four inches-tall-version, this traditional sweet gets a chocolate-y twist; a rich chocolate peda studded with crushed Bourbon biscuits, a smooth Bourbon chocolate ganache centre, and a touch of edible gold on top. 

During this indulgence, we relished the soft, fudgy interior that had the distinct flavour of Bourbon biscuits with every mouthful. The base is also dipped in chocolate, adding another layer of richness, while the chocolate crumb coating gives it a slightly rustic finish.
