Make it for that one last meal at Jamjar Diner as the neighbourhood eatery shuts down for good on August 13

All good things come to an end. Last week the three founders of Jamjar Diner — Anup Gandhi, Sahil Timbadia, Nevil Timbadia of Auriga Hospitality and Entertainment — announced the shuttering of the Versova outpost after 13 years.
The last day of service is August 13. While a new concept is yet to be announced, Jamjar will surely leave a void for the folks of Versova. It went on to become a third place between work and home; a perfect spot for dates, work meetings, castings (with Aram Nagar in its backyard) to late night outs.

1. Chili Cheese Pull Apart Pao (Rs 350): This decadent bread indulgence is cushioned with a three-cheese mix, and flavoured with chillies and cilantro. An interactive, sharing plate.
2. Burnt Garlic Alfredo (Rs 525): Pasta lovers must try the creamy penne serving in creamy alfredo sauce. No such thing as too much garlic
3. Mushroom Cappuccino (Rs 325): Along with their woodfired pizzas, the thickened soup truffle oil and chives is a warm treat in a cup.

4. Flower Pot (Rs 495): This stunning-looking dessert (above) is laden with brownie, marshmallow, cashew nut, vanilla ice cream and Oreo soil. Served in an orchid pot, it was a treat to the five senses.
5. Tres Leches French Toast (Rs 450): Savour this pillowy bed of brioche in a sea of milky tres leches sauce that is topped with strawberries. Sweet memories are made of these.
