Cops arrest two teens after one of them is detected by the CCTV camera inside a stationery shop, which they robbed of cash and goods worth Rs 45,000, to purchase 'leaked' SSC papers.
The lure of shortcut to success inspired two class X students of a Kothrud-based school to rob a stationery store of Rs 45,000 in cash and goods. However, a CCTV camera, placed right above the counter, ensured that the duo landed in the police net within 24 hours.
The instigator
The crime was committed at Bombay Stationers and General Stores at Erandwane, Kothrud in the wee hours of Wednesday. Police also managed to arrest a 21-year-old man, identified as Rohan Dalvi, who had promised to sell the duo four to five question papers for Rs 35,000 and had also instigated them to acquire the money by stealing. Rohan is a BBA student Marathwada Mitra Mandal’s College of Commerce.
