Mumbai Police have ordered an inquiry after a video surfaced online that allegedly shows a police official threatening student protesters with false drugs cases if they continued to take part in ongoing Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) protests.

A senior Mumbai Police officer said that the cop seen in the video has been removed from his post until a departmental inquiry is completed against him.
