Identified as Rohitkumar Rampal Singh (31), the accused used to like the doctor and had often visited her clinic in the past. A few months ago, Singh’s mother was admitted to the victim’s clinic for treatment.

A N Shahane, Sub-Inspector of Airport police station, said, “Singh is a BTech and was working with a private firm in Vimanagar. However, he was jobless since the last couple of months. He used to like the victim and would often visit her clinic. Irked, the victim had discussed this issue with Singh’s parents in the past. However, he did not stop visiting her clinic.”
