A 45-year-old man was critically injured after being attacked by two men with a knife in the Cheeta Camp area in Mumbai's Trombay on Sunday night, police officials said on Monday.
The entire incident was captured on CCTV.
According to the police, the knife attack on the man appears to be the result of an old enmity and officials were conducting a probe into the matter.
After attacking the victim, the accused fled the spot.
The victim has been identified as Mohammad Ibrahim. He was attacked while he was sitting at a shop in the area.

Ibrahim was immediately rushed to Sion Hospital by his family, where he is currently undergoing treatment. His condition is reported to be critical.
Based on a complaint filed by the victim’s father, the police have registered a case under relevant sections of the BNS and further investigation were underway, said an official.
