Maharashtra govt issues guidelines for schools, asks to conduct counselling sessions, mandates CCTV cameras

As per the guidelines, the schools must store at least one month of data backup of the CCTVs and the schools shall report offences against students to the police

The Maharashtra government on Wednesday issued a set of detailed guidelines mandating schools to install CCTV cameras, conduct counselling sessions and scrutiny of staff, reported the PTI.

As per the guidelines, the schools must store at least one month of data backup of the CCTVs and the schools shall report offences against students to the police.
