Muzaffarnagar: A 35-year-old man was shot dead in his sleep allegedly by his elder brother at Nagla Nanokheri village of the district, police said today.

The incident took place last night when Satendra was shot dead by brother Bijender while he was sleeping, they said. The brothers earlier had a confrontation over a girl Satendra had brought home, according to villagers.
