Mumbai: Anti-narcotics cell seizes heroin worth Rs 2.54 crore; nine held

In a major crackdown on drug trafficking, the Anti-Narcotics Cell (ANC) of the Mumbai Crime Branch has arrested nine individuals and seized 508 grams of heroin worth Rs 2.54 crore from the city’s suburbs.

According to officials, the action was carried out under the directives of the Brihanmumbai Police Commissioner as part of a focused drive to curb the illegal sale and distribution of narcotic substances across Mumbai and its suburban areas.
