Pantnagar police constable Ravindra Kurhe’s swift action led to the arrest of a chain-snatcher after a dramatic early-morning chase at Pushp Vihar Junction in Ghatkopar.
Targeted assault
According to police, 74-year-old Kishori Pravin Mehta, a Garodia Nagar resident, was on her routine walk around 6.35 am on April 15 when two men targeted her. “One accused approached from behind, pushed her and snatched her gold chain, causing a neck injury”, a police officer told mid-day.
