Mumbai Crime: Anti-Narcotics Cell arrests lawyer in a drugs case worth Rs 2.35 crore

ANC DCP Datta Nalawade told mid-day, 'We have arrested lawyer Rajkumar Rajhans from Malad and produced him in court where the court has sent Rajhans to police custody till November 22.'

The Bandra unit of Anti Narcotics Cell (ANC) of Mumbai Crime Branch has arrested a lawyer named Rajkumar Rajhans in a drugs case. The ANC has also seized drug-related material worth Rs 2.35 crore from a farmhouse in the Kolhapur district. The accused was absconding and the investigating agency arrested him from the Malad area of Mumbai.

According to the ANC, lawyer Rajhans himself used to get MD drugs made and then supplied them to drug peddlers in Mumbai. The accused had built his image as a social worker in his area so that no one can doubt him. Sources also told that Rajhans used to supply 8-10 kg of MD drugs to Mumbai per month.
