A 34-year-old Nigerian woman was arrested by the Versova Police on Monday. The woman has been arrested by police for allegedly possessing 418 grams of cocaine, including 30 capsules, with a total estimated value of Rs 1.42 crore.

In a significant drug bust, a 34-year-old Nigerian woman was arrested by the Versova Police on Monday. The woman has been arrested by police for allegedly possessing 418 grams of cocaine, including 30 capsules, with a total estimated value of Rs 1.42 crore. The accused woman was reportedly transporting and selling the drugs in Versova.
The accused has been identified as Khridtina Idove, originally from Hussain Wajidwala in Oneda, Nigeria. She had been residing in New Delhi and is believed to have been involved in the illegal transportation and distribution of narcotics and illegal substances in Mumbai.
According to police officials, the incident occurred around 3:00 am when officers on patrol noticed a woman walking suspiciously along a street in Versova, carrying a bag. When the police patrolling van in Versova stopped and questioned her, the officers found inconsistencies in her responses. The Nigerian woman’s hesitation led the police officials to check the contents of her bag. During the search, police officials discovered 418 grams of high-grade cocaine, including 30 capsules of the drug.
An FIR has been registered against the Nigerian resident Idove under various sections of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act. She is currently in police custody, and further legal proceedings are in progress.
