A late night suicide bid on the Bandra-Worli Sea Link was foiled by an alert police team around 1 am on Saturday, and they were able to rescue a man allegedly attempting to jump from the bridge.

The incident came to light after the police control room received a call claiming that two boats had collided. The police team found this information to be false, and subsequently learnt that the boat mishap had actually occurred in Gujarat.
