Two steal sports bikes, use them in illegal racing on Mumbai-Ahmedabad Highway; held

The crime came to light when a man, who had parked his two-wheeler in Vasai (East), found it missing upon returning from work on April 9

The Waliv Police in Palghar have arrested two individuals involved in stealing sports bikes and using them for illegal racing on the Mumbai-Ahmedabad Highway. The police have also recovered seven stolen bikes from the accused.

The accused have been identified as Sahil alias Bappi Sahid Ali Shaikh, 20, and 22-year-old cab driver, Arshan alias Arshu Jakir Saudagar, both residents of Malwani in Mumbai's Malad area.
