The latest to join the heated rally of words is Nitesh Rane, son of Industries Minister and NCP leader Narayan Rane. <img alt="" src="/imagedata/2011/oct/rane.jpg" border="5" /> Nitesh Rane said he would do anything to topple the BMC in the elections Retorting to Shiv Sena chief Bal Thackeray's Dussehra tirade against those targeting only the BMC for potholes, Nitesh, who is the president of Swabhiman Sanghatana, an NGO, said the censure would not dry up on his part.u00a0 "I will only target the BMC and will do so because the elections are coming, and we want the Sena to lose power. u00a0 On what basis are they asking the public to vote for them, because in the last 15 years that they have ruled the BMC, they haven't done anything constructive," said Rane. u00a0 He said his NGO would continue to put up banners highlighting the potholes on BMC roads. Earlier, Thackeray had said that some people were putting up the same pictures of potholes time and again. u00a0 The Sena patriarch even blasted people for highlighting the potholes only on BMC roads and not on MMRDA or PWD roads. Drawing attention to the roads in Sindhudurg, Thackeray said they were worse than city roads and the leaders there had done little about it. Sindhudurg is represented in the Parliament by Nitesh's brother Nilesh. "Both Narayan and Nilesh Rane have spoken to ministers at the Centre about the roads. The National Highway number 17 has some potholes, but it belongs to the Centre, and we are awaiting funds. The other roads, even the ones in villages, are better than those that lead to Matoshree," said Nitesh. 'No road rage' Nitesh denied he was involved in any road rage incident outside a five star hotel in Worli with Yuva Sena President Aaditya Thackeray. "I don't even know which car Aaditya drives. Why would I do anything so childish? My security personnel would have reported to the police if anything of this sort had happened," said Nitesh. Right now, Nitesh is aiming to enter the Guinness Book of Records by giving 25,000 people jobs in a single day.
