20-year-old factory worker critically injured after nitrogen cylinder explodes in Naigaon near Mumbai

According to police sources, the factory was involved in fabrication work, where large metal sheets were cut using nitrogen gas. The explosion’s impact was so intense that it shattered a nearby MahaVitaran electrical box, uprooted trees, and shook nearby villages, leaving locals alarmed by the loud blast and tremors that followed

A powerful nitrogen cylinder explosion was reported in a factory located opposite the Kaman area, Naigaon, near Mumbai on Monday around 4-4.30 pm, triggering panic in the surrounding areas.
A 20-year-old worker has been critically injured in the incident. He was immediately rushed to the Bhaktivedanta Hospital in Bhayander, where he is currently undergoing treatment.
