2002 hit-and-run case: Salman Khan will not go to jail till Friday

Salman Khan sentenced to 5 years in jail for 2002 hit-and-run case

Bollywood star Salman Khan will not have to spend the night in jail after he has been granted two days interim bail in the 2002 hit and run case.

Salman was Wednesday sentenced by a sessions court to five years' rigorous imprisonment in the 2002 hit-and-run case, but he swiftly moved the Bombay High Court which granted him interim bail till May 8 to hear his appeal against conviction.
