Thane: Three persons were killed while another person sustained grievous injuries when their car rammed into a container near Kasheli bridge here early this morning, police said.

The speeding car rammed into the rear of the container around 4 AM close to the Kharegon toll plaza in the city. "The local firemen and the disaster team rushed and tried to save those trapped in the car, but three of them had already died," PSI V G Gavit of Narpoli Police Station said.
