The Wadala police arrested three teachers from Mumbai Vidyalaya, Wadala, on molestation charges yesterday. The accused, identified as Kishor Bargad, Madhan Kolkhar and Deepak Aaware, were nabbed after some students complained to their parents, who then approached the police. According to the parents, the trio was molesting students since a year. According to the parents and school principal, no action was taken against the teachers even after repeated complaints were filed in the school as they had the backing of a trustee of the organisation. <img alt="" src="http://images.mid-day.com/2013/jan/Child-Abuse_2.jpg" style="width: 500px; height: 591px;" /> Representational Pic According to the other teachers, the trio used to touch the girl students and sometimes even ogle at them. They also gave the girls punishments like standing on the bench and raising their hands. &ldquo;The trustees are the decision-makers in the school. There were complaints from the students in the past regarding these three teachers but since no heed was paid, the parents have now approached the Wadala police,&rdquo; said Rohini Patil, the principal of Mumbai Vidyalaya. The parents and the principal alleged that the management had not initiated any action against the teachers. The Trustee, J K Jadhav, is known to be partial towards people from his hometown - Aurangabad - and has removed many professors to hire the trio as they belonged to his district. He wanted to generate employment for the people from Aurangabad. A letter signed by victims&#39; parents was sent to the trustee on December 7 regarding the happenings in the classroom. However, Jadhav did not pay any attention to the issue. Frustrated with the happenings, the parents sent a letter to the Senior Police Inspector of Wadala police station on December 31. When contacted, Jadhav put the blame on the other teachers. &ldquo;All the allegations against the teachers are false. I feel they are innocent. Our school staff is divided into two groups - one old and one new. The old staff, who have had a strong hold in the school, want to remove the new hirings,&rdquo; he said, and added, &ldquo;The old staff is instigating the parents to file a complaint against the trio and are dragging my name into it as well.&rdquo; When asked why he did not respond to the letter sent by the parents, he said, &ldquo;I met the parents of the students and I thought that the matter was solved. However, because of the old staff&#39;s instigation, they registered an FIR.&rdquo; Senior police inspector Pandurang Ingule, Wadala Police Station, said, &ldquo;We have arrested the three accused school teachers after the allegations made by the victims in their respective statements and further probe is on.&rdquo;u00a0
