<p><strong><a href="https://www.mid-day.com/search/Thane-all" target="_blank" rel="none noopener">Thane</a></strong> district on friday reported 33 new cases of <strong><a href="https://www.mid-day.com/search/Covid_19-all" target="_blank" rel="none noopener">Covid-19</a></strong>. The fresh cases took the infection tally to 1,96,925, according to a Covid-19 bulletin issued by the Thane Municipal Corporation (TMC).</p>
<p>According to the bulletin, no Covid-19 related death was reported on Friday. The Covid-19 fatality toll in Thane now stands at 2,162.</p>

<p>With addition of the latest coronavirus cases, Thane currently has 171 active cases.</p>
<p>26 Covid-19 patients recovered on October 14, taking the total number of recoveries since the beginning in the city to 1,94,592. The recovery rate in the TMC area is 98.82 per cent.</p><p>
