Thane: Mahape junction flyover inaugurated

Maharashtra PWD minister Eknath Shinde inaugurated the 1.12-km long Mahape junction flyover that connects Mumbra-Panvel and Thane-Belapur roads providing seamless connectivity between the city and metropolitan regions
Maharashtra PWD minister Eknath Shinde inaugurated the 1.12-km long Mahape junction flyover that connects Mumbra-Panvel and Thane-Belapur roads. State Urban Development minister Dr Ranjit Patil was also present on the occasion on Friday.
Shinde, who is also the guardian minister of Thane, said that the new flyover will provide seamless connectivity between the city and metropolitan regions. The flyover, constructed by MMRDA (Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority) that costs Rs 90 crore, will cross four junctions and has two paths for to-and-fro traffic.
