Palghar: A pregnant woman gave birth to a child in a moving Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation (MSRTC) bus here.
The incident occurred yesterday morning when the driver of the Palghar-bound bus stopped the bus between the designated stops of Kashipada and Walan Naka, upon noticing a couple and their little child in a seemingly hapless state.
Then, within minutes of letting them in, with the timely assistance and care of the woman conductor, the woman delivered the baby near Hutatma Chowk.
The driver then hailed an autorickshaw and requested the auto driver to drop the trio and the newborn to the Palghar Rural Hospital.
