Late on Thursday night, an over three-year-old female leopard was trapped in the cage set up by the forest department at Unit 3 of Aarey Milk Colony. 

A resident of Unit 3 said, “Since late Thursday night the dogs in the area were barking a lot and that is when I sensed that there might be some leopard movement in the area. On Friday morning when forest department officials and a team of volunteers checked the trap cage, they found the door closed and the leopard sitting inside.”
