Two days after the state government declared that the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) evaluation would be a combination of the Std IX and Std X performances, academic records of more than 78,000 students have been found to be unavailable. The Std IX evaluation report of students from across the state shows that records of 4 per cent of the candidates (78,643), have not been entered in the system.

In a first, the SSC results would be a combination of the internal assessment of Std X and the result of Std IX. State Education Minister Varsha Gaikwad had shared that the state education department had all data related to Std IX evaluation from 2019-2020. But turns out no entry has been made of the results of 78,643 students.
