ACB to wait and then act against NCP leader Suresh Dhas

Anti-Corruption Bureau stalls action against former revenue minister Suresh Dhas from NCP as BJP is keen to get the party's support during the trust vote on November 12

The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) might have enough evidence to arrest former revenue minister Suresh Dhas after his assistant was arrested for allegedly taking a bribe of Rs 23 lakh from a businessman a couple of days ago, but they are likely to wait before taking any firm action against him. The reason is that Dhas belongs to the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) might need NCP’s support on the confidence vote that is likely to happen in the state on November 12.
