Tribal students claim protest march stopped at Tilak Bhavan in Mumbai, heavy police deployed

According to the protesters, they had planned to march towards Mantralaya to raise their demands. However, a large police force was deployed at Tilak Bhavan and the march was stopped before it could proceed further

Tension were reported at Tilak Bhavan in Mumbai on Tuesday after members of an Adivasi (tribal) students' organisation were allegedly stopped by a large police deployment while attempting to march towards Mantralaya.

The protesters claimed that they had planned to take out a morcha to Mantralaya, but police stopped them at Tilak Bhavan.
