AirAsia India plans to operate flights from Mumbai

No-frills airline AirAsia India plans to introduce a flight from Mumbai, according to AirAsia group chief executive Tony Fernandes.

"In Incredible India....Bombay (Mumbai) is changing by the day ....AIRASIA India will be starting in this metro soon. We are coming," Fernandes said on Twitter. The airline, which launched air services in June, currently operates flights to Goa, Chennai, Kochi, Jaipur and Chandigarh from its hub Bangalore.
