The police have beefed up security outside Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray's residence – Matoshree - after receiving a phone call from an unidentified man claiming to be underworld don Dawood Ibrahim's aide on Saturday. The caller wanted to connect the CM with Dawood and threatened to blow up Matoshree if Thackeray didn't speak.

Mumbai police spokesperson N Ambika told mid-day, "Security has been beefed up at Matoshree following the threat call. An inquiry in the matter is underway."
