Anand Dighe Death Anniversary: CM Eknath Shinde commemorates Shiv Sena leader with ambulance donations; Shiv Sena (UBT) holds health camps

On the occasion of the death anniversary of Anand Dighe, a senior Shiv Sena leader from Thane, Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde distributed 25 ambulances to different districts across the state. Anand Dighe, known for his influential presence, played a pivotal role in bolstering the Shiv Sena's dominance in the region. The Uddhav Thackeray-led Shiv Sena (UBT) marked the day with health camps held at its shakhas (field offices), PTI reported.
To commemorate Anand Dighe's legacy, Chief Minister Eknath Shinde handed over keys to 25 ambulances to MLAs and shakha pramukhs representing beneficiary districts. These ambulances, were distributed as per the vision of late Bal Thackeray, founder of Shiv Sena. CM Shinde revealed that more ambulances would be allocated based on regional demand, the PTI report stated.
