An auto driver robbed a woman at knifepoint in Santacruz on Sunday night. The woman was returning from a friend’s wedding, when the incident took place. The shocked complainant has registered a case with Santacruz police, who are still clueless about the identity of the accused.

After attending her friend’s wedding at Bandra Gymkhana on Sunday, complainant Anisha Bangera was waiting for an auto at the D’Monte Park junction. She felt the steady gaze of two men who were standing on the other side of the road. Unnerved, she hopped onto the first auto she saw, asking the driver to take her to the vicinity of a store in Santacruz (West).
