Power outage hits Dadar, Wadala, Parsi Colony and parts of south Mumbai; restoration underway

The electricity supply was affected in Girgaon and Gamdevi following a fire in transformer of  High Voltage Distribution Board which would take about an hour to restore the power

A power outage affected parts of central and south Mumbai, including Dadar, Wadala, Parsi Colony, Girgaon and Gamdevi on Friday evening.

The officials said that in Dadar, Wadala and Parsi Colony power was affected after a technical fault at the Kings Way receiving station in Dadar.
