BMC chief conducts surprise inspection of Mumbai’s century-old pest control depot

During the visit, Bhide examined equipment used for pest and rodent control, assessed on-ground operational measures, and reviewed the overall functioning of the facilities. She also checked staff attendance registers and verified the physical presence of sanitation workers on duty

Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) Commissioner Ashwini Bhide conducted a surprise inspection of Mumbai’s first and nearly century-old Pest Control Depot at Mint Road in Fort during the early hours of Wednesday. 

She also reviewed operations at the A-2 Road Repair and Stores Depot, along with the Sewerage Department depot in the city’s ‘A’ Ward area.
