BMC Election 2026: SEC declares results for 227 seats; BJP wins 89, Shiv Sena (UBT) victorious in 65 wards

The Maharashtra State Election Commission (SEC) on Friday announced Mumbai's high-stake BMC Election 2026 results and according to the data BJP turned out to be the largest party, securing 45.22 per cent of the total votes polled in favour of winning candidates.

According to the data, on Friday night, results for 227 wards across Mumbai were declared, which suggested that BJP won 89 followed by Shiv Sena (UBT) that won 65, receiving 27.52 per cent of the votes.
