BMC announces mandatory election training for officials, warns of action if missed

In a statement issued on Friday, the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) said that training for all officials is mandatory, and criminal action will be taken against employees who remain absent from election training

In light of BMC Elections 2026, the Mumbai civic body has organised training sessions for its officials and employees, officials said on Friday, adding that the officials have been warned of action against those missing the mandatory election training.

The training will begin from Monday, December 29 2025, to Saturday, January 3, 2026, and from Monday, January 5, 2026, to Friday, January 9, 2026.
