BMC hospitals may get robot surgeons by next year

Soon, thousands of needy patients may get access to advanced treatment in the form of robotic surgery, or robot-assisted surgery, at all civic-run hospitals. This is after a corporator made the proposal to introduce it at all BMC-run hospitals. However, Mumbaikars may have to wait for a year as the deans of all major hospitals will have to conduct a group study on it to come to a final decision on its implementation.
