BMC tells Bombay High Court it acted on 15,021 illegal hoardings, banners last year

The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) yesterday submitted a compliance report in the Bombay High Court, saying it had acted on around 15,021 illegal hoardings and banners in 2015 and had registered around 127 FIRs the same year. It also told the court that requisite steps will be taken to ensure that no illegal hoarding or banner is put up on Republic Day.
